About a week ago I was using a Kyocera Dura Max, a rubber case clamshell phone that can be run over by a truck with no visible damage. That's because we built one house and remodeled another. Complete chaos and confusion, and all the elegant smartphones seemed too thin and fragile in this life. Well, these projects are mostly complete; so i bought 2 samsung galaxy s9 phones for me and my husband. Phones are as thin and fragile as I thought they would be and I used mine very carefully until this case arrived. First, it's built and looks like a tank. Like the Dura Max, the phone is encased in a hard rubber cocoon and has a hard, transparent screen on the front. However, the screen does not interfere with work. He is so sensitive and reactive as if he weren't there. The phone snaps in very cleanly and is fully protected. Even the USB ports and headphone jack are protected from dust by snap-on covers. And while I don't plan on driving my truck with my new phone, I'm sure I'll have no problem dropping it on concrete or in a muddy puddle. The case comes with a plastic back that allows me to attach my phone to my belt. I found this a little awkward - the front of the phone was covered in smudges when I picked the phone up to answer it. So I would recommend taking one of those glasses cleaning cloths that you get with new glasses. Much more convenient than carrying around wet rags or spray guns. All in all a wonderful product. OK. This is an edit. I'm so stupid. No need to take your phone out of the belt clip case. Simply detach the entire cover from the belt. Spirit. Another thing I forgot to mention is that all the external functions of the phone - power button, camera lens, volume controls etc etc are easily accessible and work well. It's not an obstacle. That's all. I'm done.
