Review on Camera Fujifilm XF10, champagne gold by Riko Long ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

Frankly, I was skeptical about this camera, but I really wanted something small for every day with an APS-C matrix. I read conflicting reviews on the Internet . and decided to try it. The camera is great for travel and street photography! For a few days on a New Year's trip, I used the Fujifilm XF10 more often than my beloved Nikon D5500. I took a camera in gold color, people on the street do not perceive it as a serious camera, they react like a regular smartphone! In the discussions, the XF10 lens was compared with the Ricoh GR II, not in favor of Fujifilm . Perhaps Ricoh has a sharper glass . The Fujifilm XF10 lens is not "ringing", but sharp enough! Yes, not like Tamron SP 90mm F / 2.8 MACRO VC (F017) or Nikon 40mm f / 2.8G AF-S DX Micro, however, it copes well with both full-length portraits and long shots. With close-up shooting frankly pleased! Landscapes are pretty good too. In short, I am not disappointed. Shooting in automatic modes, the camera works very well, I think that this will be enough for many. To shoot in semi-automatic or manual mode, you need to spend some time getting used to the camera. For some reason, reviews of this camera did not appear for a long time, probably fell into the shadow of the X-T3 . but the device is very interesting and one can talk about it and argue about it for a long time. I really liked the camera. Not! Loved it! I rarely leave the house without her. Small device with big possibilities.

Pros
  • 1. Compactness! 2. Excellent image quality for this class of cameras - APS-C matrix, albeit with a Bayer filter. 3. Shooting in low light at high ISO - at dusk it focuses well and produces a very decent picture! 4. Thoughtful control - comfortable to shoot in manual mode. 5. A high degree of "customization" - you can customize almost everything at your discretion. 6. Sufficient battery capacity - enough for a day with "thoughtful" shooting, not like from a machine gun.
Cons
  • Conditional disadvantages: 1. The lens cap is still not very convenient, but I quickly got used to it. 2. The screen is not swivel, although for several weeks of filming I did not experience any discomfort from this. 3. The stabilizer is only electronic, but for me it does not matter.
