All of the device's objective and subjective (addictive after a device of another brand or weight, for example) flaws are masked by its excellent color reproduction, megazoom, swivel screen, and battery power. The machine performs superbly, and the cost is really fair. Includes advantages: Zoom, AA-battery operation, a swivel screen, sharpness and photo quality, a plethora of settings and modes, solid construction, and a manageable form factor are all pluses. Here are a few drawbacks: The lens cap does not secure tightly and will oftentimes come off on its own. Excessive bulk that might cause smudged images when used with some cameras (especially true for girls). Paper instructions are incomplete.
