Review on πŸ’‡ Remington HKVAC2000A Vacuum Haircut Kit: Ultimate Hair Clippers & Beard Trimmer Combo (18 pieces) by Claudia Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Compared to the Norelco trimmer.

I have used Norelco QT4070 (now Norelco 7300) in the last four years and replaced it three times. While it was incredible, I found the build quality very poor and decided to try the Remington model instead. I'm not disappointed PROS: - MUCH better build quality. My Norelco had to be replaced twice under warranty due to cheap plastic parts breaking off. The Remington seems to be much more durable and I have no issues with the build quality. Strong vacuum. At Norelco, hair sometimes fell on the counter. Remington caught almost all of the hair that fell out. Good battery life. Only two weeks but it works fine as a trimmer. CONS: Less accurate for sideburns. I think I need to be a lot more careful and adjust the length in the traditional style. The Norelco had a built in adjuster that made it easy to adjust the length in small increments. Remington has "snap-type" adapters, which are less convenient and offer less control. Luckily for me, one of the adapters fits my favorite bristle perfectly, but I can see that some people used to the Norelco 7300 have trouble finding the perfect length. Overall, I'm happy with the build quality and ability to hold a charge. I wouldn't use it where accuracy is required, but I think many will prefer Norelco.
