I have this as a backup for my MacBook Pro 13.3. This laptop is a new device purchased in January 2021. The charger that came with the laptop is the Apple A1949, rated up to 61W. This 87W non-OEM device should be compatible with the 61W version, but it will not charge a laptop. , we don't even see an icon to indicate that it's charging at all. It charges smaller items like headphones and some other smaller peripherals that use a USB-C charger, but it's mainly used as a backup for mine. Also note that the cable is about 10 inches shorter than the A1949 cable that came with my laptop. It might work on other laptops but is useless on the new MacBook Pro (model A2251) 2 stars just because it at least charges some smaller peripherals. Not recommended.
