The leather of these driving gloves is soft, supple, thin and ventilated with tiny holes. They offer good flexibility and comfort. I measured my hand and got a perfect fit at the knuckles but a gap at the palm and wrist. There is a zipper on the wrist. I think given the fit I would prefer either velcro or a combo closure and elasticated wrist. They have no extra pads on the palm. There was black dust/leather residue on my hands. Their production origin is Pakistan. In general they are fine. They protect your palms from blisters, but don't add extra protection if you need padding for long trips.
