Review on 🖱️ Unleash Your Gaming Potential with the ASUS ROG Chakram Wireless Aura Sync RGB Gaming Mouse – Featuring Optical Sensor and 16000 DPI by Kenta Omura ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

In general, everything is not bad, but I expected more.

In general, it turned out that this is the first device in many years from Asus, which caused me a negative. Surprised myself. I admit that the “curve has arrived” firmware is possible, or there is some option to get rid of the sensor failure problem, for example, by lowering DPI or switching to wired mode (this is generally ridiculous), but why does this happen with a device for the price of 13k? Hence the negative. For this money, I should not think about anything at all.

Pros
  • The view is not overloaded with design elements that some mice suffer from, with the title of "gamer". Nice material, easy to clean. When buying, it's nice to look at the box. The realization warms the soul that you can disassemble and change the mikriki. All.
Cons
  • 1) Breaks the sensor. It looks like a sudden acceleration, although it is turned off. That is, you are trying to make a quick 90° or a U-turn, and at that moment, as if acceleration is turned on and, as a result, you twist the angle. It is very likely that the problem is in a combination of 2 factors - wireless mode + high dpi (I noticed a problem when I set it to 3200dpi, before that it was less). It only happens when you really try to quickly scroll the corner. 2) Unfinished configuration software. I installed Armory Crate II, because I assembled the system on the asus (in terms of hardware, they have trust made since the zero years). It is very possible that the sensor is also torn off because of the software. It just so happened that I increased the sensitivity at the same time as ating the firmware. So, about the software. It changes the sense for a long time, while it is impossible to drive in a specific value with your hands. You have to pick up the slider like a moron, and if you make a mistake, then be kind, wait 5-7 seconds until the value is set, and then on a new one. And picking up the slider is very inconvenient. Well, you should not click on the side values (min, max) from the slider - it immediately sets either min or max. In short, uncomfortable and long, UX is disgusting, and UI is an amateur.
