Review on Samsung T5 Portable SSD MU PA500B by Koshino Minoru ᠌

I bought the drive just the other day and have not yet gained much experience of use, but the first impression is excellent. I did tests when connected to a laptop via USB Type C to a Thunderbolt 3 port and when connected to a regular USB 3.0 (3.2 gen 1). Screenshot results. When connected to a USB 3.0 port, the speed is still slower. Some pros: 1. Good drive speed 565MB/s linear read, 525MB/s linear write. Random read and write numbers aren't bad either. 2. Good design and miniature. I have a version with a red case and it pleases the eye, like a newly purchased smartphone. Yes, it may get scratched quickly if you wear it without a case, but then no one will pay attention to it. 3. Two cables included: USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB-A. Length approximately 40 cm. 4. Can be connected to a smart phone. With Huawei Mate 20 Pro, it worked without problems, you could immediately throw files on it. Has cons: 1. The price may be a little high, in fact we get a drive with the performance of a regular SATA SSD, which cost ~ 5200 for a 500 GB model. I bought it for 6600, if it was for 6000 it would be a great offer, but not bad anyway. 2. The absence of a case in the kit. Can this be considered a disadvantage at all?
