I have suffered from mild dry mouth since I was young and dentists love to talk and talk about how wonderful Biotin is and what I should be using it for. Well I've been using it for years and it works great, maybe for an hour but after that or if you drink or eat anything you're back to square one. You have to use it often and I've never bothered with the taste or aftertaste. With BreathRx, you're left with a powerful cleanse that lasts a lifetime. It leaves no mouthfeel, for lack of a better word, lubricated like Biotene, and the pungent mint flavor actually stimulates salivation. The contained zinc ions keep bad breath away for several hours. Before switching to BreathRx, my morning mouth could probably be officially declared a Superfund clean-up site. Now I use this stuff before bed and it's a lot more reasonable in the morning. I'm very glad I found this mouthwash and plan to stick with it as long as they make it. I would recommend it to anyone but especially those who suffer from dry mouth and find biotin unsatisfactory. Another thing specific to this 1 gallon size, I originally planned on just filling and using the smaller container but I have found that the pump that comes with it delivers the EXACT amount I like to use when I rinse my mouth I would suggest trying it out before simply filling a smaller container. You might just choose to stick with the pump.
