The pin is too small to fit watch straps

The strap I ordered was the right size, looks good and is good quality, but the pin is too small. These are spring pins, they need to go into the dial itself for a secure fit. It's not like this. It is possible for Skagen watches to have very shallow pinholes. My watches that fit several other 20mm straps will not fit this strap. The band itself fits perfectly, but it won't fit securely because the pin is too small. He falls immediately. Useless.
