I bought three of these lights to use in my 300 gallon tank. I don't think the brightness is as great as advertised, but it's not too bad. Where these lights don't really work is their timer. One of them works fine, but the other two lose 15 minutes every day. So I set them up by hitting the 6 hour timer at 5pm and they turn on 15 minutes earlier each day, to the point where some lights go on at 3pm a few days later come on and others still come on at 3:00:00. 17:00 The concept of a timer is fine, although it would make more sense to add and account for sunset and sunrise since they are designed for aquariums. I like that they are very quiet.
