My daughter LOVES this dress and wears it to all her band/orchestra performances that she needs to dress up for. She is 11 years old and usually shirt and pant sizes are 12-14. This dress is a bit big and you can see a small bra under the lace at the top, but she is still wearing a cardigan. It slips over her shoes and looks very elegant and fun to twirl in. The belt helps to tighten it and find the right fit! We are very happy with this purchase!
