. It's worth it. I'm generally very frugal and cringe a little when paying that much for a pair of socks, but nothing compares. They are the most comfortable and work better than any socks I have ever owned. I have over 10 pairs of Smarwool of different types and I wear them all year round - this is the main advantage of high quality wool. They're especially good if you have sweaty or athletic feet. I either wash them on the gentle cycle, but mostly I hand wash them. If you want them to last, don't wear them barefoot.
