It's probably good for something, but it didn't work for us, ended up being useless

Unfortunately, this product didn't work the way we wanted it to. Decent quality, but there were flaws in the design. My cat is bigger, he's just long and had a minor shoulder surgery. We had issues with him and the other cats in the house getting scared and fighting (usually they all get along REALLY well). He also got at the seams with his hind legs, so we were afraid he wouldn't scratch them. We also wanted to make sure he can still clean his vital parts so he doesn't go too crazy. Ultimately, this product had two flaws that made it almost unusable, the first was fine, the second did. more or less useless. He was able to clean himself in many places and we cleaned the rest. Good thing it fits well and the velcro that holds the side straps in place is really strong. for example very strong. It's trimmed right, cut well, and sits well on it. The material is soft and quite elastic. He could easily use the litter box. Not good, the cuffs around his arms didn't go down far enough to cover his seams, so he was able to go all the way down. We fixed that by layering a long sleeve baby shirt underneath which was a bit bulky but made it impossible for him to get to his stuff. This product is not designed for things that need to be covered around the shoulders/forearms. Cats are a lot more flexible than you think. We also noticed that his frequent grooming of the cuffs and collar was already degrading the material. His tongue is a bit rougher than other cats, but it's obvious that this suit might not last two weeks. Not good, despite the padding on the collar, our cat managed to pull himself out through the head hole. I've tightened it enough, to the point where a lot of other things would start to limit. Apparently the recoil was still enough to break free, making the whole thing practically useless. I found him lying with her around the midsection of the body, the part we wanted covered fully exposed prompting a quick trip to the vet's emergency room as he licked a few stitches. Luckily there weren't any major problems and the seams were still fine. Now we're back to the cone and having to endure the hiss until it heals.
