This is a pretty simple ballet skirt. It's cheaper than some and a bit lacking in quality. Although the quality matches the price. Waste is just thin open elastic, while some others have thicker stripes and are covered in jersey fabric. I actually prefer the style of this belt as the other style tends to ruffle the ribs in the sleeve of the leotard. The fabric of this skirt is as sheer as most ballet skirts. White is pure bright white. Size wise we felt it was true to size BUT my daughter is slim with a below average waist.
