I bought this as a makeup bag. In photos, it looks bright, colorful and shiny. In fact, it's very boring and lifeless. It's almost entirely black/grey with very little color unless hit by very bright light, in which case it has a slightly colored sheen. The spaces between the triangles are made of mesh, which is not suitable for a make-up bag. when potentially loose powder from brushes or accidentally broken makeup powder (because it happens!) gets through the mesh and onto anything I use to carry my makeup bag (like my purse). I go back and find something that can really be used as a makeup bag that doesn't suck in the color department.
