Review on PEZAX Continuous Rechargeable 3100K 5500K Panasonic by John Mahfood

I make videos for a living (mainly business and corporate). And I could take full advantage of this light for a small interview/portrait or product work. SHORT STORY: I was REALLY surprised when I first opened the box! Sturdy metal construction (about the same size and feel as the iPhone 7plus) and a TON of light. AMAZING quantity and quality of light for this size and price! EVERYONE who shoots videos or photos should have a pair of these in their pocket! LONG HISTORY: This light competes with other, more "famous" brands in both dual tone/powerful features and price, and I think it does a great job. The item that comes closest to it costs about $10 more but puts out less light and has a much lower build quality in my opinion. The closest thing to it is about the same size, about the same performance, and has a few extra features BUT it costs four times as much. So this light is in the so-called "Goldilocks” position. The perfect combination of performance, ease of use, quality and price. For the little time I've spent on this I would advise everyone to buy at least two! Another handy feature is the power indicator, which lets you know how long it's charging. Much more useful information than the usual 4-5 little blinking lights most devices use! In fact, all I can say is that the diffuser filter that comes with it (as you'll see in my photo) is just average. But you have to look very carefully and know you're looking for it to notice it. And who really cares will probably end up using more professional diffusers (or reflectors/reflectors) anyway. I haven't been this happy with new photo/video gear in a long time! Overall I'm very satisfied and will probably buy a few more for my light street gear!
