Review on WEEN CHARM Jacket Detachable Faux Fur Outdoor Recreation for Outdoor Clothing by Vera Gashi

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was expecting to return it straight away but was pleasantly surprised

I've seen a lot of these off-brand coats from Asia but am a bit skeptical about the quality and fit. But at $69 and Revain's return policy, I figured why not? I'm fairly skinny, 5ft 6in, 145lbs so on average I took a risk considering the lopsided size of these straight out of Asia brands. After opening it and being halfway ready to return it, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised on all fronts. I've had it for less than a day as of this writing, but I've had the chance to wear it outside in windy 30 degree weather and it's been quite warm and comfortable paired with my fleece. It also seemed to block the wind quite well. I'm interested in how it behaves during puberty, but I suppose it must be keeping me warm. It fits very well and hugs the figure well, but is not too tight even under a fleece jacket. It's a bit longer than I expected, but I realized that this slightly longer style is called a fishtail parka, which is big in Asian and European streetwear. The good thing is that unlike some lined insulators, it's not bulky. I wanted a slightly technical jacket that didn't sound like a fake Canadian goose. Once you remove the fur ring from the hood, it looks like a regular street parka. From the picture I was concerned that the faux leather part of the front would stick out like a shiny sore thumb, but it goes quite well with the jacket's black fabric and is another interesting feature that sets it apart from the Canadian. goose fake. This faux leather piece also serves as a handy "handle" to open Velcro fasteners. Also the velcro straps are a new type (3M I think) with no "fluffy" fabric which is nice. Another reviewer pointed out the "English" spelling "Meiropolis" on the faux leather piece, but the lettering is barely visible, which I like. But most importantly, the construction feels as good as the North Face and Columbia outerwear I own. Best of all, it looks like a pretty cool jacket that doesn't look like every other conformist wearing their Canadian goose. (did I mention that? ha) Another standout feature is the red accents on the drawstrings and zippers. It's not as adorned with technical features like pockets, storage space and zippers as some jackets, but it does have 2 sets of hand pockets, the bottom of which is deep enough to stash gloves, a phone, etc. A weird fad has a vertical zipper on the chest for a wallet or phone that opens without a pocket. I would also like to see a drawstring waist like most long parkas, but the jacket seems to fit enough so I don't think that should be a problem. Contrary to people who wrote that the sleeves were a little long, I could tell they were a bit longer, but I honestly wouldn't have noticed if it weren't for the reviews. I liked it so much that I immediately wanted to write a review. If anything changes I will update it. For this price I can only recommend it! Five stars, probably one of those stars, is because you are so pleasantly surprised by this jacket!
