Bulbs are responsive and work well with HK. They offer good value for money compared to HK compatible lamps. But they don't have many colors and the colors aren't as good compared to more expensive ones like the Lifx. That's half the price though, so it comes down to whether color variety is really important to you. The endless color possibilities you see in Hong Kong don't really apply to this bulb, it still only produces certain colors.
