So I bought a complete set with the Follow Focus attachment. The gimbal is of very good quality, especially for the price, metal body, smooth stabilization. I've heard of some issues with rapid battery drain and weak motors that scared me, and the fact that this stabilizer has a battery built in that would make it a problem, but I bought it anyway. I called Amazon to ask if there is a warranty so I am protected and Amazon protects the customer for things related to the transaction but the manufacturer also has an automatic one year warranty so the manufacturer will replace their product , if the product fails quickly. To protect yourself in this case, simply contact the manufacturer and not the seller or Amazon. My tracking setup was a bit confusing. The calibration is poorly documented, but I managed to figure it out. At first it stuck and clicked back and forth and I thought it was broken. On the web, others have also reported this and some have requested a replacement, but that only happens when the follow focus is not properly calibrated. After a while I figured out how to calibrate it and it worked really well! The only problem I had was that the subsequent focus shorted out about 5 minutes after the calibration was complete. It made an annoying noise and died, and when I turned it on it just buzzed. The buzzing came from both the connector where the chord connects to the follow focus and the connector that connects to the gimbal, so I believe there was a short and the cable was not capable of electrical transfer electricity or something. that sound. Anyway, I contacted this seller and they were AMAZING! They were quick to respond, offering to return the money if I wanted to return the product or send me a Follow Focus replacement and just as an apology for the inconvenience, they sent me the entire accessory kit with a remote control! Now the Follow Focus has been replaced and is working and I have this wonderful remote control! If you want to get this gimbal and are worried about not being protected if something goes wrong with it, the manufacturer and this seller support you. At least they had mine.
