Review on JACO Deluxe Tire Pressure Gauge by Michael Lightfoot

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Apparently reliable, easy to use and readable: completely useless in the long run. Do not worry.

This review was written about 3.5 years after my purchase (06/28/19). This thing is pure Chinese junk. The meter looks well made and solid. Of course it must have lived much longer, I kept it in my truck's door pocket, protected from damage and easily accessible. Easy to read, feels good in hand, feels like a hit. However, a few months ago I began to doubt the accuracy of the sensor. Yesterday (June 26) my assumption was confirmed when I received completely different readings from all three sensors, which are now in the trash. I asked my neighbor for an accurate gauge and found that my Jaco gauge was off by at least 18psi. I'm not aware of Jaco's supposed claim of 100% satisfaction: if I get a response from them (with a refund or at least a new sensor), I'll update my satisfaction guarantee. In the meantime, my advice - do not buy this sensor! Any recommendations for a quality American made 100 psi gauge?
