Review on 🍽️ Winsome Alex 5-Piece Walnut Snack Table Set by Erin Brown

I bought this set in addition to a pair of similar TV stands I had left behind from a former roommate for many years. They were similar to the ones I had so I took them. They were true to size and the build was pretty close to the older couple. The stand requires a bit of assembly, but it's not difficult at all. I was able to set up the stand in about 15 minutes. I like this set because it's made out of solid wood, not veneered chipboard or MDF. A previous reviewer noted "cheap" because the wood is made up of smaller pieces put together. I would disagree based on what I've seen Andersen casement windows built the same way and they are NOT cheap windows! Anyway, only one of the 4 trays in the pack I bought has the top this way. for a few weeks now. The stand works very well and is quite stable. Only two things didn't fully satisfy me: 1. The surface of the trays seemed a bit thin, both for my taste and for the intended use. The older units I have have a slightly thicker clear coat which makes them resistant to condensation and very easy to clean. The bottom edge of the tops and bottom-mounted stop blocks (and some side rails) were a bit sharp. It may not be sharp enough to cut you, but in certain circumstances it can leave a good scratch. Luckily I had sandpaper on hand and after 10-15 minutes at around 100 grit the sharp bits were gone. I also had about 220 grains on hand and took them to the ends to rough them up a bit and apply a few coats of polyurethane (which is drying now). I realize this is more of a personal preference than something for others. what you need to know before you buy. Based on the devices that were sent to me, I can definitely recommend these TV trays! Although I would definitely recommend lightly sanding the areas I mentioned if possible.
