On a pleasant note, it was much easier to get a spare transmitter that plugs into USB than in the case of peripherals from Microsoft. There I somehow lost the transmitter, and did not find other options but to buy a whole device with a transmitter in the kit. Perhaps this is no longer the case, but for Logitech the transmitter is sold separately and at the same time, both a mouse and a keyboard can be hung on one transmitter. Very comfortable and I had no problems, but of course I'm not a gamer and I use the mouse and keyboard in not very difficult conditions.
