I think I will like this bag very much. I bought this to replace an almost identical bag I've carried for the past two years. My previous hobo bag - with the same exterior pocket design and layout - was white with brown and gold accents. It was buttery soft, like leather, and it's really hard to tell it wasn't leather. However, I bought this bag from Goodwill and couldn't afford to buy this style in real leather so I bought this set of three bags. I live on two extra small bags - I keep all my cosmetics in one large bag and loyalty cards/business bonuses in a round bag - although that would also make a great wallet/coin purse if you're happy to carry it around. I have two accessory pockets in my purse, plus two eyeglass cases (one for bifocals and one for sunglasses) neatly tucked away in the center zip pocket, plus another 3x6 zip pocket that holds my two phones, and I have a lot more room! I can't carry my MacBook Pro (older model) around and lock my wallet, but an iPad, Chrimebook or tablet fits very well. I suspect the vinyl (leather?) will soften over time, so it's a little stiff at the moment. I don't think there's any concern about it being confused with leather, but I don't mind. If I can use it daily for a few years (no straps, zippers, or pocket liners) I think that's a big win. I'll be looking into other colors as I'm definitely considering getting another one for spring, although taupe is a really good year round color I can't say enough good things about this design - those side pockets, inner pockets and vents are suitable for cell phones, cell phones, an exterior back pocket and a zippered wallet body provide complete security, functionality and style. Before COVID, my daily commute consisted of walking blocks, catching buses and/or trains, and I needed these zips even if I stumble and fall or stumble (it's easy to walk on ice or snow or a bumpy one travel by public transport). I knew my valuables would not be scattered. I also wanted quick and secure access to my bus and work passes so I didn't have to fiddle with my wallet. With this handbag design, these items can be reached quickly without having to take the bag off your shoulder. It's worth a lot of peace. Thank you for making this hobo wallet design so affordable at this price.
