The cord is medium sized but won't stand up to kindergarten kids. The swollen earpieces will come loose (with rough handling) but are easily reinserted. I've never had a pair long enough for them to break. They are a bit big for a 5 year old's head. Overall a good price for the quality. I don't have to replace them as often as dollar trees, so that's a win.
