Since I like the Yunmai scale, I'll bother to comment on the inadequacy of your user manual. I suspect that you greatly underestimate the level of experience and knowledge of your customers, especially when it comes to health issues. They are usually tech-savvy. Therefore, I'm confident that by focusing more on multiple areas, your sales and the value of our brand will increase - at minimal cost. For example: 1. User Guide Your "User Guideโ€ really needs an experienced editor to rewrite it. This will be a relatively small and inexpensive job. But it will add more value to your product. Even I, at 83, expect even a 20-page manual to be well-organized with effective hypertext links, including a linked table of contents and other navigational aids. Your guide can't even use Acrobat's bookmarks feature to create a useful table of contents, especially if the document is well-organized and includes headings. (Since you didn't lock your document by requiring a password, I added this bookmarked table of contents for myself a few minutes later.) It doesn't even have page numbers. It looks like it was just copied from the "Quick Start" information that came with the scale. Most of your customers are in a hurry. Their manual requires them to go through many pages and read the entire manual to find what they are looking for. And it obviously hasn't been edited. For example, on page 19 he has asterisks after three paragraphs, which usually indicates that there will be an explanation in the footnote but no footnote. And there is a link to a non-existent application. By the way, I understand what you mean, but these editorial problems unnecessarily impede the reader. Typically, such a guide should consist of relatively short sections, each covering a topic, as indicated in the section heading. A guide is usually most effective when organized temporarily, e.g. B. more or less in the order in which the information is needed by the reader. These headings can form a table of contents. Frequently Asked Questions are used too frequently, and too many of them do not provide effective access to the information the reader needs. Manuals can often include some of this information in a shorter form in the troubleshooting table.2. Additional information explaining the numbers on the scale: It would be especially helpful for your customers to explain in more detail the meaning of each of these 10 items that the scale says and how they might relate to their health problems. I would even be happy with a link to the internet for more information on each item. For most of us, at least a "healthy rangeโ€ would make sense. I understand that this requires more effort than just deleting your user manual.
