This is not at all the rubber that I rode on as I went from place to place across the country. Even though the marks are the same, the tread pattern is entirely different. What is this, exactly? Why is there such a disparity? I can say from personal experience that this protector will float and make a noise when it is used. In overall, I have the distinct impression that this is not Goodyear, particularly in light of the cost of this rubber. You do not require it at no cost. It's a pity that they took advantage of people's faith in the brand in such a brazen way. Because I didn't accept it initially and then came back a month later to get it, it's too late to return it now.
