I chose these other brands because I thought that a pen is a pen but there are small differences that make it different. Pros and Cons Pros: * Lower price per handle * Thicker metal Cons * Wood has discoloration (picture attached), it looks worn or used If you don't mount the monitor firmly I wouldn't trust it not to slip out. * I constantly tighten the mount to the camera at least once a day with average use, you should hold it tight if it doesn't knock a little. General opinion: I would reject this brand, it seems that they are trying but not quite there yet.
