As others have pointed out this hat will not give you a baggy effect - the fabric is too stiff and the excess (which is superfluous) is pointing up and out like the pope's miter. I looked ridiculous in that hat. One of the problems is that in addition to being stiff, there is a thick seam at the end of the flexible part that keeps it upright. When I order a new one, I look closely at the photos to make sure there is no seam at the end - that's what makes a pointy hat, not a slouch hat. I'm giving it two stars because the fabric itself is thick and comfortable, I liked the fine weave and the hat is well made despite the ridiculous shape. Again, product photos are deceiving - they look sloppy in pictures, but trust me you'll look like a cone head.
