Very sticky

Accidentally bought 2 packs. Not a big deal since I end up using them. Recently used for the first time. I needed 4. First 3 were ok and then there were no glue dots for 22 inch. I've noticed 3 or 4 pretty close together and then a 4 to 5 inch gap. I'm not sure if this is normal, but it doesn't seem to be the case.
