This drawer is the perfect size for my drawer - place them "sideways" first so the drawer faces the back and not to the side, to give me the greatest expansion. However, I did notice that every time I closed the drawer with *any* effort, the cutlery drawer would move back about half an inch until it landed a few inches deeper in the drawer. t didn't help and didn't turn it so that the expansion compartment faced to the side; If you don't close the drawer very carefully, it will crawl back every time. They really should have had more sticky stuff on the legs instead of foam pads or maybe 3M or some other dot of glue to hold it in place.
