This is a great addition to a drawer and would probably work as a separate bed as well. I got this for my pup's cage and not only did it fit perfectly (the measurements are accurate so measure the inside of your cage when you put it in there) but my pup sleeps better now. because she hardly ever moves at night. You'll need to let it air out to reach its maximum size when you receive it, and it comes with a washable cover that zips up on both sides, making it very easy to put on and take off. It's very thick, with a layer of blue memory foam on top of a firm foam base. I put her cage mat on it and her two blankets (my old shirt and my beach towel) and she's a happy pup. Buy with confidence, this is a great product at a decent price, you will definitely get your money's worth with this bed. for my office, for my older Tonks puppy. My Tyra keeps it in her drawer and it's pretty obvious that she's very comfortable and sleeps 100% better since I bought it for her. If you have a chewer I don't recommend it. but if your furcid isn't chewing, this could be your bed, especially if your furcid is older. The cover is washable, lined at the top and sides to protect against accidents (potty training or vomiting) with a durable soft outer layer for comfort. It has small rubber paw prints on the bottom to prevent slipping/slipping. My favorite part of the bag is that the zipper runs down both sides, making it easy to get on and off. No more trying to "tuck" the bed into the bedspread, it's easy to "open and close". If you are looking for a great bed for your furry child I would highly recommend this one. 😊👍
