I wanted a selfie stick that I could use with both the GoPro and Osmo Pocket. I needed a 1/4 screw so I could install the "sliding" mount used by the GoPro. This allows me to quickly install either my phone or the other camcorders mentioned above. It's very sturdy and a bit heavy. The weight helps get a more stable shot. It has a nice grippy material on the handle. The stick will not flex when pulled to its maximum as it is designed to keep the stabilizer fully installed. Just remember that it is very powerful. Not a hefty barbell, but a hefty "heavy load can withstand violence" type.
