These are perfect for protecting my Halloween and Christmas inflatables animatronics. I have well packed clay soil so they work great. I used the same strong tent poles as these but I only had 8 and they were a ton more expensive. Right now I need 8 for Halloween and 10 for Christmas and if I need more next year I'll get another set. They are mainly used to protect against wind or people trying to steal them. It's not anti-theft, but it will hold them up long enough for me to free my doberman. I will be using 8 heavy duty fountains for the 2 fountains I ordered for the front and back yards as I'm not worried about the wind. They will be blown away, but people will steal them, and they will stay where they were put forever.
