Not just for decoration Only
I don't know why the product description says "This item is for decoration only, Touch ID and Click function will not work". The click function WORKS (why else would it be sold with the cable attached?), Touch ID does NOT work (as expected). The seller never answered my question so I just ordered it and it works great.
- Important! By replacing the home button assembly, you will permanently lose the fingerprint identification feature. This item is mainly for decoration, touch ID and click function do not work. The Touch ID feature does NOT work and cannot be recovered as it is unique to each device. For security reasons, the original home button touch sensor works with your phone.
