I bought these for a wedding and thought I'd paint them white to keep the rustic look but they weren't that easy. The description says they are made of wood but when I went to paint them I noticed that this is not quite a tree. The inside is wood but there is a wood sticker on the outside to make it look prettier and prettier than it actually is so I couldn't get them dirty. I ended up hand painting them instead of spray painting them to make them more rustic but was disappointed I couldn't get them dirty because of the sticker. Which, by the way, doesn't work. But they did a good job, just keep in mind that coloring is not possible with them.
