Does what it should, the Grasshopper of Patience.

You can see before, during and after photos. The after.after photo (which I didn't take) looks even better after spraying it with soapy water and rinsing it off with clean water. I just used the polishing pad from this kit and rebuilt the Chemical Guys headlight. Items used: Milwaukee cordless drill, foam polishing pad, Chemical Guys headlight repair, spray bottle with tap water. Water jet, dabbed the polish onto the lens and started polishing. I have an Acura TL and the headlights with wrapped turn signals take up a lot of area, I worked 1/4 to 1/3 of the light at a time, if the compound started to dry before I was done I would spray it with water and on polishing. After I was done I used 5000 grit wet-dry sandpaper on a very very small area just to see if it polished even higher. It is recommended to use 800, 1000, then 2000 and 3000 and then polish. I only tried 5000 after applying it to a small area before scratching the entire lens. To be honest I've buffed this small area 3-4 times with a buff and compound and those faint scratches are still rubbed off. I'm very glad I didn't do the whole lens. That being said, there is probably a finer paste that can be used after grinding and then polishing. BUT, the way the light came out WITHOUT sandpaper, I can always do this process as needed and never use sandpaper.
