Didn't fit my HP Chromebook

So I've had this case for about a month now. I have an HP Chromebook and the top cover fits well but the bottom cover just won't snap into place, it's too big and just falls off. It's a shame because I love it, I love the stuff, but it sucks when both pieces don't protect my Chromebook, right? I still don't understand why the top cap fits and the bottom cap doesn't.
