Great for water bottle caps
I bought 3 OXO cap openers. They're larger than these and work better on larger glass lids, but only one in three works well with plastic water bottle lids (my mom with severe arthritis needs help turning the lids). So I switched to this one to see if it would work and it works great for that purpose. The teeth really hold the cap without requiring too much pressure. I wouldn't recommend it for all lids like large spaghetti sauces or pickle jars (too small) but for water bottles --- perfect.
