I bought this bag based on the good reviews and the fact that I need a lightweight nylon holdall. I have just returned from a 17 day tour of Canada and Alaska and was very pleased. There was no dirt on the black and the nylon was reasonably water repellent. Lining in a light contrasting color so you can easily find the things you need in the bag. The bag was flexible enough to fit into a larger daypack if needed, yet strong enough to hold its shape. The strap is easily adjustable from shoulder bag length to shoulder bag length. The main compartment was large enough for my small wallet, a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone in a case, and my Canon SX30 camera. There was also a zip pocket inside as well as 3 credit card slots. On the front there is a large zipped pocket and two smaller pockets (one with a zip and one with a button). The two side pockets are large enough for 16 ounces. Water bottle or small umbrella or sunglasses etc. My only complaint would be that the bag doesn't have a pocket on the back. Also, I find that the small front pockets are for easy phone access, but my phone (5.75 inches long) barely fits in the zippered pocket. This wasn't an issue for me as I preferred to have my phone protected in the main compartment, but it might be an issue for other people. A larger bag wouldn't fit in my everyday backpack either, but the pockets are soft enough that I think it would work. Baggallini makes a good product. durable, functional and attractive. i think you will like it
