Review on 👜 Polare Retro-inspired Messenger Bag: 17" Men's Laptop Briefcase with Full Grain Leather and Premium YKK Zippers by Patrick Stowers

The bag is big enough for my 15 inch laptop, headphones and some books. The bag itself is well made and feels sturdy. However, the strap is not very impressive. Let's see how long this lasts. Worst of all is how badly they treated the leather. The color will wear off my pants if I wear the bag for about 1 hour. I live in the Rocky Mountains where the air is dry and cool. I have no idea what this bag does to your clothes when you are in a hot and humid place. I have had many other leather bags with properly treated leather and have never had a problem with the color peeling off my clothing. ***Updated 10/10/2020 Polare customer service contacted me, apologized for the inconvenience and sent me a replacement. And that's great because I really liked the bag itself until the color started peeling off my clothes. As a replacement, I chose the updated black because it had a more durable full leather strap compared to others that had a canvas strap with a leather strip on one side. . It's in the post so we'll see if that has the same issue or not too. Polar's explanation for the color issue is that the bag can lose color in the first month or so, so I have to wear something dark. I still don't think this is a good explanation for customers. If it's a known issue that resolves after a month, maybe they should allow the skin to age a little longer after coloring? Polare customer support will take my suggestion and send it to the factory, so we'll take a look at that too. *** Update 10/14/20 My replacement bag arrived today. At first glance, the updated black version is way better than my original dark brown. First, the skin is textured and softer. I'll see if it soils my lighter clothes again. Second, the strap appears to be an improvement over the previous version. While there is still only leather on one side and fabric on the other, the leather strap now spans the full width instead of just part of the width. It looks a lot better. Third, the packaging is thinner and there are no useless plastic bags or papers inside, which is a lot more eco-friendly, which I appreciate. At first I was upset that the leather paint was peeling off my clothes. However, Polare's good and fast customer service paid off. The "updated" bag appears to be better than the old one in many ways. This shows that they really listen to their customers and keep improving.
