Review on Bellroy Leather Hide and Seek Wallet: Men's Accessories and Wallets, Card Cases, and Money Organizers by Justin Ferguson

The best wallet I've ever had. Slim, comfortable, beautiful and feels premium.

TL;DR - The best purse I've ever had. Slim, comfortable, beautiful and looks premium. I've been looking for a good thin wallet for a long time. As I travel a lot there are places where I need to take coins, so any "card only" wallets are too limited. On the other hand, everyone with coin pockets just seems to have an outdated, depressing design with a thick configuration. I finally stumbled across this wallet and gave it a try. It doesn't officially have a "dedicated" coin compartment, but it does have a hidden compartment in the "Hide" compartment that closes with a flap and keeps coins safe. Don't expect it to hold a ton of coins, but storing some of the larger coins works well for you. For example, in the attached photo, it now contains three 2 euro coins. What I also really like is the second bill compartment "Hide”. Not because I intend to hide anything, but simply because it makes using two compartments more clutter-free. With regular wallets, I've always randomly used branches of some kind. At the same time, it's extremely convenient to use the "Hide and Seek" compartment for things you don't need regularly (foreign money or larger bills) while keeping the daily routine in the ordinary. Therefore, it is very convenient to use. As for the cards - it has 4 "single card" slots (can take two but I wouldn't make it thicker) that you put your 4 most accessible cards in (I put my driver's license in there, my two frequently used credit cards). and another work-related payment card) and then there's a thicker compartment that you can put extra cards in that's designed to hold multiple cards, so it won't stretch when you put a few cards in. Mine now holds 3 more plastic cards and a NYC Metro card (yes, it doesn't really have a thickness). However, with 7 plastic cards inside, a few bills and a few coins, it's still very flimsy (see attached photo). In fact, as I pulled things out of my old wallet, I noticed that my old wallet, empty, was just as thick as this one, full. The blue interior of the model I bought is the icing on the cake - it's so nice to open. it is every time. Conclusion - highly recommended. Is it worth $90? What should I say in 3-4 years. If it takes that long, then yes. Whether he dies sooner is harder to say. (It comes with a 3-year warranty, by the way, so hopefully that's indicative of something.)

Pros
  • Like all before
Cons
  • So so
