We have used some of these devices in our facility. Staff use them all day so they get used quite a bit, but after about 4 months we realize the seats aren't as durable as the price suggests. The front of the seat wears away, cracks and begins to pinch the occupant. The average usage is 5 days a week and 8 hours a day. We were hoping we could replace the seats by buying new ones, but after speaking to Richelle, one of their reps, they won't. Remember, this is a $170 chair that will go to landfill if it breaks. This gives the impression that the company doesn't care about the environment or customer service, which is why we give it two stars. This should be fine for the average user, but for sitting all day; I suggest potential buyers look elsewhere. As soon as the other chairs go out, which should happen in the next few months, we will switch to a company that is more customer focused, more environmentally conscious and produces a chair that suits our needs.
