Review on Coghlans 9475 Eyeglass Repair Kit by Cody Simmons

I bought two of these, one for myself and one for a relative. I had similar repair kits with a red cap, tiny screws, and clear plastic tubes. They were in a plastic tube with a red cap to keep everything together. It is most likely the same company. I liked this set because it comes with a magnifying glass. When I opened the small button box with the tools, I caught a musty smell. I thought that was the problem so I rinsed the tools and used them. Then I opened the screwdriver to look at the screws and the tool itself gave off a horrible musty smell. Very strong. I'm sensitive to some smells and allergic to mold and mildew so I probably noticed it before anyone else, but the smell just doesn't wash away. I've tried soap and water and it still stinks. Really bad. Disappointing because the tools are useful.
