Definitely an interesting mic stand to say the least. If this is your first mic stand then this is doable. But given its structure, it's definitely not something you'd want to hold on to for long. I've only had it a few days and I can already feel my joints loosening which is a bit unnerving considering it's been 2 days. the biggest. I definitely feel like when I tighten things, they don't tighten as much as I would like, especially in the middle joint. The base still moves even when I can't rotate anymore, which definitely doesn't help. when I point the microphone strongly in relation to my mouth. I know I noticed two, it tilts a bit for some reason and I don't know, maybe it's because the joints are bent, but there's a slight tilt to the left, at least on my mic stand. If you need something fast and don't have money, that's fine. But if you want something long-term, you want something different. I'm very careful moving the mic, but you get what you pay for. Update: The seller contacted me and sent me a replacement stand. I definitely appreciate this concept. Although worth the review. Even if this new one doesn't tilt to the left, the problems are the same. Connections do not stay tight, the base also moves when tightened. I moved the springs to a lower level to help with my heavier mic. Like I said, it definitely works, but it's not a permanent replacement, especially if you're going to be using it all the time. Update 2: A few months have passed and officially this mic stand is now unusable. Unfortunately I lowered my rating from 3 to 1. Even after speaking to the seller and replacing the original mic arm I bought (which is the one they sent me) I would not recommend buying it. I've added 2 new photos to show that at this point, no matter how hard I try to tighten the screw or how much tape I wrap, it won't support the weight of my mic. I even used pliers to tighten it in the mic and it still gets lost. You can also see that the metal is deformed due to the amount of tightening I did. I would suggest buying something other than buying this stand.
