I bought several of these towels because I have a small washer and dryer and wanted to wash all the towels in one load. I found that to be just one of the reasons I love these towels. It's true that I can wash and dry 6 large towels in one load. They use less water and soap than traditional terry towels. I feel like they get cleaner because there are no loops to cover and hide dirt. I also feel like they rinse off better because the soap has nowhere to hide. I think another reviewer mentioned that these towels seem to have a lot of dirt on them. It's true - it's called dead skin - peeling off you and sticking to the towel. I'd rather have it on a towel than on me. Since I can wash many towels in one load, I don't mind using a towel only once. I feel a lot cleaner these days. They dry like suede and wick water away from the skin very well. If you like the comfort of a sling towel this isn't for you, but in my case I like to feel very dry and get rid of dead skin. I do not regret the purchase.
