I had a terrible problem with "non-DELL chargers" even though I used a genuine DELL charger. By researching the internet I found out that it was probably the charging board. So I ordered a new charging board and installed it. It was a real pain to install the board. ALWAYS had the same problem. I made one last attempt to solve the problem by purchasing this charger to replace the original 60 watt unit. New 90w charger and to my surprise this problem is fixed. Very happy.
