I knew something was wrong as soon as I received it. The box portion of the adapter had no weight. Whatever was supposed to be in that box to make it work, it wasn't there. It didn't work at all. I ordered a new one from another site and the difference in weight was noticeable, confirming my idea that this adapter was just a shell.
