Poor quality like many leather goods these days

This wallet looks covered like many modern leather goods. After a short period of use, the edges begin to peel off. This is similar to the leather sofas sold by companies like Ashley. They literally paint or coat the skin to give it a uniform look, but in many cases it doesn't adhere well and will flake off. I am very disappointed in the quality.
