The threading on this cover is not quite correct. You can safely fix it, but you have to try that it is not crooked. It will also slip easily even if you screwed it on properly. I keep my hydroflask in my backpack and this is the third time a day that the lid has come off and soaked my stuff. I will cut my losses and buy another cap. It's not worth saving a few bucks if it ruins your stuff!
